wtf bets $48 on the board into two players on the turn. that's so annoying. i'd raise the turn because since his bet sizing's already put me on tilt. not willing to get it in versus button, though.

Forgot to include some thoughts.

I didn't plan on the guy behind me tagging along. Wanted to shove/bet a blank turn HU, but as it turned out I'm not crazy about any of their calling ranges nor his betting range into two people.

[/ QUOTE ]

well 3rd guy obviously has nothing after just calling the flop, MAYBE a 7 on the turn like <10% of the time i would say.

still i'd fold the turn, maybe would have raised the flop though.

Turn seems like a perfect spot to shove and charge draws/smaller pairs and possibly get a better overpair to fold.

[/ QUOTE ] Wtf so were bluffing?

What? How is this a bluff?

[/ QUOTE ]

No worse hands calling imo, and youre trying to fold out QQ-AA is what i was getting at.

He probably felts a draw here and potentially worse everpairs, 88/99/TT. I just mentioned that there is also the unlikely possibility that he folds better overpairs on this board.

i bet you almost never have the best hand on the turn, unless UTG is a retard

I usually reraise pre but if I'm just calling, which is often fine, I raise that flop bet to about $55. I want to define my hand as reasonably strong and see how he responds to that. If UTG reraises I think I fold, unless I knew he was wild / tilting etc. Also, if Button does anything other than fold to my flop raise, I would normally expect him to have a big hand.

If I got to the turn as played, I fold to the $48 bet. A scare card fell and button has position on us. Both players may well have us beat.

If you assume UTG is not a retard, what is a legitimate range that bets $48 into $87 on the turn into 2 players given that board texture? That bet alone makes me think he's probably a retard.

[/ QUOTE ]One that realizes $48 called by 2 players (or even just 1) makes for a ridic easy river shove, gets more calls than 65, and is snap calling a shove.
