Re: 200NL 66 turns a set, not the greatest river
Im putting in a vote for a plane and simple call on this river.
I say this because that 6$ bet on the turn looks so much like a blocking bet to me. After he just smooth calls he donks the river with a value bet after the flush hits. Anything other than a call I just dont like here beause of the way the hand reads. |

Re: 200NL 66 turns a set, not the greatest river
i was really on the fence between just calling and raising. The final thing that pushed me to go ahead and put in a raise was that he checked the flop and bet the turn weakly. I thought that w/ a flush draw he would either make a small blocking bet on the flop or bet more on the turn to try and take it down w/ some extra outs. how's that logic?

Re: 200NL 66 turns a set, not the greatest river
On the fly I like your logic but is he really the type to donk the flop, with a fd, into two other players, in a raised pot.
The weak turn bet to me is exactly what would of in the end made me call and that he value donked the river after you raised. Your logic is there sir it's just different from mine. ?take a note? |

Re: 200NL 66 turns a set, not the greatest river
in most cases i like the min raise but here we raised the turn and he donks the diamond river, i think i just call the river bet, any non diamond and I'm all about the min raise, its a good play.
