Don't CR the turn. On river I'd probably fold to a reg./multitabler and call someone else.

[/ QUOTE ]

any idea for a reg's range? For someone else i assume we'd add bluffs to his range?

Bet flop with the intention of pushing some turns, like spades, nines, jacks and eights.

What do you do if villain raises or pushes flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

should be an easy fold then

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup, fold if raised.

don't like PF much. i would bet the turn here. as played, you should fold on the river

donking the flop isn't something i ever do in 3bet pots. is it commonplace. why would we do it

Strange bet from villain with 50 back. If you can call 90 you could probably call the rest. Question is whether he's good enough to realize that. If he is then this is more likely a bluff than a value bet. If he's not this could just be what he thinks you'll pay.

I'd bet the flop or the turn probably. More likely flop as a semi-bluff/protection bet.

we're not. we have the lead. there isn't much point in 3betting light oop only to pussy out on semi-bad flops. there really aren't very many flops i can think of that i wouldn't cbet on, other than things like ddd or whatever.

Reg, AJ

Just so I've got a clear understanding of your line:
So we bet the flop because villain may have nothing and we may take down the hand, or to set up a turn push on a card that improves our hand to a pair + draw, trips or 2pair because our FE combined with our PE against villains range (which has some foldable hands given flop flat call) is +EV?

Also we are folding to a flop raise and are c/f unimproved on the turn? Is that about right?

Does this work often enough if he calls flop with set, overpair, TT, AQ?

My main point of 3-betting light there was to take this down pf or with c-bets on flops on which i think i can fold out better hands.
On this flop vs. a tag i dont see the point in betting, except protecting against AK. Please correct me if i'm wrong here.
