SOFTWARE PROBLEM

if you type in a user's name in the login box (lionelhutz00) and press enter, it shows you why they were banned and the entire dialogue box. This is where he is getting it from.

I would delete that thread asap before people figure it out so you guys can fix it.

ah i see now

yeah i would just use the box as strictly a "reason for ban" and not as a "last word to banned user"

Guys... while I didn't know others could see that by typing in the login name, this really isn't a glitch. Anything in the ban reason has always been more or less available to people, which is part of why I've sometimes sent messages about not using profanity and such there. It's sent out in the notification email in addition to being displayed when they try to sign in as well.

Ban reasons themselves, regardless of where they're placed, have always been public too. Anything else in the regular user notes section should stay private, however.
