Without a read, I would respect the limp/min-re-raise from this kind of villain and play for set value only. (I would call his flop bet though.)

from a guy that is only rasing 6% of his hands he limp RR's you pre so you have to give him a range of AK QQ+ IMO with that in mind IDK why your trying to turn 88 into a bluff on the flop given the only hand you fold out is AK. Villans line from a passive donk type player sreams a monster hand just play 88 for set value you missed call his flop bet getting like 12.5-1 though cause youll stack him anytime you spike a 8.

my mistake, i thought you meant the 3bet. I would also have just called the flop bet btw, knowing that villain had limp reraised pf.
