It's a pot sized raise.

Bet size * 3 + 'Dead' Money in the pot

$32*3 + $14 = $110

Isn't $21 in the pot before BTN raises?

Oh, dead money...I see...

If I'm raising at a live casino or something I just raise either 3.5x or 4x the heads up pot bet, I don't know how off I can be..I suppose its fine and add 1x for number of people in the hand.

Our bet isn't included in the dead money.

To check my calc: $110-$32 = $78 to call, for villain.

Total pot after our raise = $7 + $7 + $110 + $32 = $156

$156/$78 = 2:1

QED

My math is so poor. Is $7 an initial pot sized bet for $1/2?

How do you calculuate that? 3x$2+$1 for the small?

Sorry about that. Did a double fist pump, got a high five from the wife and called my neighbor over before hitting the call button.
