[/ QUOTE ] I got everything from this site. http://poker.wikia.com/wiki/Full_Tilt_Poker_Mods#Other The QJ hand I double barreled because the board was so draw heavy and I'm not sure which draw he has. I fire to get value from those draws and protect my hand instead of giving them a free card. It's also entirely possible they'll call me w/ QT or Q9 or even fold hands like QJ or KQ when the Ace hits. I think the bet does a lot of different things and I just don't really like checking. |

Re: I made a video. 200NL FTP
It was a nice vid Trikkur. You talked clearly and with energy, and you also give the impression that you have confidence in what you're doing and why, which many people have trouble doing.
I think it also helps if you have a clear audience in mind. I mean, you don't want to be explaining the zeebo theorem to SSNL regulars. |

Re: I made a video. 200NL FTP
Nice vids. I have a question relating to the 5h6h vs AJo hand from the first video. I completely agree with your ranging and your own play, but I'd like to know how you think villain should have played his hand.
His preflop raise was standard as was his bet with TPTK. I think it's fairly obvious that his 3-bet line was wrong as it left him near pot-committed, folded out all inferior hands and allowed you to value shove all hands that have good equity vs him (like you did). At one point you suggest he could maybe have shoved over the top of your raise. I think that's even worse. He now absolutely makes you fold all <10out draws and all hands he beats meaning if he's called he's crushed. I don't think he takes the pot down often enough to make up for those times you call and he is drawing dead or near dead. So in response to your raise his options are to fold or call. Which of these is best and what's his plan for the hand. Fold seems really quite weak. I think he at the very least has to call your raise. The big question is what should villain do OOP on the 2s turn? Should he check call because the turn bricked all of your semi-bluff range? Should he lead out for value/protection with a bet-fold mentality or should he check-fold. BTW, if he called would you bet the turn even though you missed or would you peel a free card? |
