Default Re: Big 3-handed pot in micro limits

I know it was a bad play to make that raise preflop. By not doing it I would have probably check-folded the flop and skipped to the next hand, but it was not how it went down. Both players were totally unknown to me, but somehow I wasn't scared of SB check raising here, because in that kind of big pot I think he must have bet right away even with low flush draw. What the other player had was a bigger problem to me and I thought that check would lead to pot bet by him quite certainly. So I bet the pot and got raised. The willain showed pocket nines so there was no hope for me.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($15.95, 3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $15.95, UTG raises all-in $17.1, SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($50.15, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $50.15)

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($50.15, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $50.15)

Results:
Final pot: $50.15
Hero showed Ah 3c Ad 5s
UTG showed Qs 9s 9c Qh

Just know that if you think it will always work out this way you are losing value a lot with your strong hands. Sure, you lose some, but often people call you without the odds to do so in the hope of cracking your A's.

Pot the flop since you have inflated it a ton already preflop. Hope no one has anything to run you down with. Subsequently get called and lose, then throw mouse.

What amazes me is that SB folded here. He has next to no stack left and, given your/Villain's hands, there are very few holdings SB can have that completely missed this board. Pretty difficult for him NOT to have a hand that is now a straight draw/TP+/diamonds. Must have had like 7654 or AKJJ, and even that's a stretch.
