The line comes from a scene where Dirk Diggler is getting ready to perform in a scene. He runs out and yells "I'm ready to shoot, Jack" at the director (who is named Jack).

Sportscenter also did a good job with a feature on Tom Izzo and Darius Washington tonight. Good stories about both players missing free throws to win a playoff game. Showed how people overcome failure and move on. Nice stuff

OTOH, Stephen A Smith and Mel Kiper Jr are 2 of the reasons that ESPN really sucks.

I like Stephen A's insane rants, or I used to before he got overexposed. His rant at halftime of a Pistons-Pacers playoff game about how awful the play had been was the funniest thing I've ever seen on ESPN.

What's your beef with Mel Kiper Jr and his hair?

i think kiper is awesome personally.
i love how people especially in the northeast don't watch more than 3 plays of college football all year and then pretend to know wtf they're talking about regarding the starting DT for vanderbilt and those are the same dumbasses who rip kiper when they never would have heard of these players if wasn't for kiper in the first place.

I also thought their Izzo and Darius features were pretty strong.

Well, you can count the number of Division 1 Football teams in the Northeast on one hand, and neither of them have very stellar programs as far as I can tell. This would explain the lower level of interest.

Well yeah, nobody cares about college football in that part of the country. On the Bills board I frequent nobody cares or watches anything on Saturdays. Mike & Dogg in NYC talk about how they can't get a college football call all season and then every April they get a bunch of calls from all these Jet fans who have scouted Kentucky's cornerbacks....either that or they're just reciting what Mel Kiper has told them.
