Can you get to www.fulltiltpoker.com or is that not connecting as well. Is it possible to bring the computer to someother place with internet connection (friend's house, public library) and see if it will connect from there. Likewise try bringing a friends computer to your place and see if they can connect using your internet. This will localize the problem to either your machine, or your internet acces. Post results for more help.

nonoo, i have been going to school here for 3.5 years and its always worked. Thats not the problem, good/new suggestion though.

It's entirely possible that your webmaster has banned the port. Alot of colleges have started to take steps like this to ensure that students who need band width aren't deprived cuz someone is running sets all teh time, while downloading Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and streaming videos from twoinherbutt.com. If you know other people on campus are able to connect, then it is probably your machine, but you can try to call your college's webmaster and see if he is behind your problems.

Dude I just reformatted my computer theres no point to restore it to, lol. I mean thats why i reformatted originally-- i tried system restore and it wouldnt do it, so i just reformatted. Anyway.....i again highly doubt its my college, although i will try using my roomates ethernet cord and see what happens. Report to follow
