Both people are good to 3 bet vs. but what is more important is their likelyhood that they will call down with any pair. Their calling habits are much more important IMO

I don't 3 bet LagTards with ATo OOP. It puts you in exactly this position with no idea what to do. You have optimal position on him almost always. There will be much better places to put your money in against him.
As for the hand, I think you played it fine. SMS
