Re: Deep, flush vs big river 3bet
I very much agree with ur thoughts Kirk, and in the heat of the battle the fold was v. easy for me. I have been thinking about it afterwards, though, could he possibly be raising a smaller flush for value?
Also, his decision was v. quick, making it more of a fold imo. It didnt take him long to spew off the rest of his stack with some pretty reckless moves, so I'm still not sure.. Thx for all replies |

Re: Deep, flush vs big river 3bet
I was thinking about that this and given you think he's on tilt, its well possible he can 3bet T9ss, T8ss, 98ss, etc for value here. But even still I think his range is heavily weighted towards the nuts here due to the size of the raise.

Re: Deep, flush vs big river 3bet
He can't 3bet a small flush for value because it's highly likely you you have flush when you raise given your flop + turn action. This flush really doesn't count like a BD flush because there was no flop betting, and both players are deep so it's easy for the turn to be bet and called by flush cards on both parties. Fold cuz it's so likely he peeled with Axs.
