3,9,10 im pushing. [/ QUOTE ] I'd open push 10, but to push over the Big Stacks UTG limp would require reads. Is UTG limping because he's scared, or has a monster and wants someone to push over. Plus, we don't have that much fold equity against someone with 6.5 x or stack. I hate hand 10, because it's so read dependent, but without a good read, I think we are getting called here way too often and we are behind. |

I agree, but looking at hand 10 and seeing results, utg's play looks so weak. limps, and min bets flop. any monster hand would surely check that flop to entice short stack to bet, no?

[/ QUOTE ] That's why I find the hand so read dependent. I'll sometimes minraise a monster here, because I'm trying to dangle weakness and chips in front of the short stack. As short stack, I might push the flop, he has an inside draw, and really needs to pick up a pot, but I'd need a read on if UTG will fold to basically a stop and go. Table dynamics are huge here as well. There are times as short stack I know I'll get into the money because of how others are playing, and times when I have to take risk beyond my comfort level. |

Your bubble play looks okay, but you always seem to enter the bubble as the crippled short stack. This will obviously make you bubble stats look worse than they really are.

3,9,10 im pushing. [/ QUOTE ] Hand 3 is close. Hand 9 is shove given two big stacks have been raising at every oppurtunity. Hand 10 UTG does something unusual like Limp and then min-bets the flop. Well Played. |

4 and 9 are pushes. Surprised no one has mentioned #4. I push ATC against the 2nd shortest stack in these spots.

I don't have an ICM calc in front of me but I can't see how 4 is a profitable push. I think their ranges have to be ridiculously tight to push less than like j9s or something. Those are just my intuitions. I'd much rather have like 98s to shove then offsuit 3 gappers.
