betting is ok. turns your hand into a bluff but that is great cos you are behind almost always. depending on history and image. probably fire again 50% of the time. $70 is about right

lol preflop is so standard, not reraising 99 here a fair amount of the time is very bad.

Would you and Twisted Echo care to explain why you think this? 19/17 is barely a TAG...

PF is way standard, its not 100% raise but its definitely a consistent raise here IMO. Why play OOP with a good hand thats very vulnerable, I would much rather take it down PF most of the time then play OOP with 99.

Calling majority of the time here PF is total scared poker IMO.

FYP

As I said before, if hero and villian are both very active, then I agree it's standard. However this is not the case.

IMHO you are wrong.
You are ahead of almost all villians ranges here. You are taking control of the pot even if villian calls.
Your hand is vulnerable and not well played OOP.

i think you can make arguments for rr-ing or calling, it just depends what fits better into your overall gameplan and your image on the table- for those rr-ing, are you intent on getting it on blank boards?

for those flat calling, are you playing purely for set value or considering turning a mid overpair into a bluff?

questions to think about.

I sometimes call and sometimes 3bet, and when I call, I often peel the flop unless the flop is disgusting.
