Re: Lap Tap River Donked my TPTK
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] never seen him CR? well he doesn't cr in this hand so... [/ QUOTE ] Thant's my point, most players would CR a set on that flop. He didn't but he never does so the way he played the hand I was lost. No way he pushes a lesser KQ or J like this on the river. Also, if he pots the flop I think I can fold. [/ QUOTE ] you can fold to one flop bet when you make your hand, wow, this guy has too much respect. |

Result - Lap Tap River Donked my TPTK
[ QUOTE ]
you can fold to one flop bet when you make your hand, wow, this guy has too much respect. [/ QUOTE ] What can I say. The guy hardly ever gets out of line. I put him on a set and thats what he showed me 999. Okay my next question. How do you avoid being milked like a fish? Do you always pay off a short stack in a spot like this (TPTK on an easy board)? The pot was around $175 by the river and I gotta give this guy another $50 on the long shot that he has AK or KQ. He doesn't even push the river he just bets $50. Thank for the help guys. I'm getting better. |

Re: Result - Lap Tap River Donked my TPTK
Well if I think hes SO passive he will never bet into me unless hes got a hand, I will call him down (i.e. not minraising the turn), unless he bets the turn huge which lets me know that theres at least a 90% chance he can beat one pair. However, with his silly small bet on the turn theres no way you can fold TPTK, just go for pot control if you really think hes got something.
