Re: New Cardplayer Article Todd Brunson

[ QUOTE ] In Todd Brunson's new article he writes about staking Sam Grizzle. "The game was out of control, and we all three wind up winning about $50,000 each." http://www.cardplayer.com/magazine/article/17000 Does this mean that he was playing at the exact same table as Sam who he staked? Isn't that unethical? [/ QUOTE ] Odds on collusion? [/ QUOTE ] 100% LDO |

Re: New Cardplayer Article Todd Brunson
To answer OP, this is an old and standard practice. The ethical question is an interesting one, but generally rendered moot by tradition in those circles.

Re: New Cardplayer Article Todd Brunson
I think T. Brunson's column is one of the best in CP. At least one of the most entertaining, if not THE most.

LOL at grizzle's birth year [/ QUOTE ] LOL at staking Sam Grizzle. My experience of playing against him in a sng for the daily tourny at Bellagio was equivalent to wrestling a toothless alligator, which was sad. But he was funny. At least until he started losing chips, then he got surly. The funniest thing was he asked the floor if he could get in the sng on credit |
