Re: line histories?
You're going to get "inconsistencies" in closing lines from every source. That's why I'm trying to put together a DB from as many sources as possible.

Re: line histories?
TLT,
You have PM turned off. PM me if you want to discuss offline. I have some data, but like you, I'd like to have more. If you are finding data sources, I can probably create a consolidated database, and I also have the analytical SQL skills to delve into any trends you can think of. -Ritmo |

Re: line histories?
This site seems to have the relevant data for the NFL and college football. This is already broken down by season and is in CSV format. Obviously having more sources to compare spreads and such is still important.

100 on stars or Paypal for that NFL closing line data (94-07) in CSV. [/ QUOTE ] isn't that what Mr. NFL charges for his database which goes back to 87 or so |

Neat, Mr. NFL's data is actually available for free. Thanks! [/ QUOTE ] It's viewable online for free, but scraping that into a database would be kind of annoying. He sells the database file for $99. Let me know if I'm mistaken here. |
