The flop is the least interesting street here. The river is my least favorite. Bet/call can't be right.

Against how many players?

(BTW - I'm trying to see if you're making a common error, saying that two situations are similar based on the two cards in front of you and leaving out all the other details)

Aaron... There were more people in the other pot, so I suppose the situation isn't as similar as I saw at first glance.

@ OP

3-bet preflop. If this guy is opening 100% you have a huge eq edge and want to play your hand. However, by calling you give BB odds to call. You want BB out to isolate the idiot.

Bad players make mistakes postflop. If you are alone with a bad player any mistake he makes is money in your pocket. If you are 3 players postflop any mistake the bad player makes is money to you AND the other guy - you want that money for yourself.

To be succesfull in 6max you need to learn to isolate the weak spots.

About postflop. Not c/r'ing this flop is as bad as not jamming the flop in the 44 hand you posted.

IT IS REALLY TERRIBLE!

Your replies about protection makes me think you are not thinking the right way about shorthanded LHE.

[censored] protection!

Jam your good hands for value and jam your good draws if it improves your chances of winning the pot UI.

The pf raiser in this hand raised 100% of hands pf. Is there any room for improvement here?

++++

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG checks, MP checks, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG folds, MP folds.

[/ QUOTE ]

You need to 3-bet pf. All players in the hand so far holds random hands so 3-bet for value. It also gives you the chance to create a lot of dead money.

Flop: (8 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets, Hero calls, BB folds.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like b/3-bet here for value if he raises most hands on the flop.

[ QUOTE ]

Turn: (5 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls.

This is good given flop.
