Where the money came from is irrelevant. There is 11.25 in the pot. You are calling 6 to win half of it, or 5.63.

You don't win any of the $6 Villain put in on the river. It goes back to him (just like your $6 call goes back to you). But if Villain has a T, you lose your $6. So effectively you're putting in $6 to salvage your half of the pot that was built by the preflop thru turn action.

Eh, I feel like I could have explained that better, but, really, I'm right about this. I mean, think of it this way: After we call the river, the pot will have $17.25 in it, not $11.25. It's half of that $17.25 that we get back, which is $8.63 or so. Subtract $6 from that (our river call), and we're investing $6 to salvage $2.63.
