Make it more on the initial flop raise. And wtf would you 4bet the flop for if you want to get away from your hand? [/ QUOTE ] charming |

This is pointless.
He clearly had a set and you lost as your not exactly hiding the fact. If he only has AA and JJ there then yeah fold but clearly if he has at least AJ here at the very least so it's a pump fist insta call |

[/ QUOTE ] charming [/ QUOTE ] You wanted discussion and Jay gave it to you. Why don't you answer his question? If you are going to come here and say you put him on a set b/c of some sick read, then fine. But it is so standard to stack off here 175 BBs deep. |

I was looking for serious discussion re this hand. This is a standard raised pot with deep stacks. With no history versus villain, who looked solid I honestly thought I was up against AA or JJ. He wasn't doing this with TPTK. What your saying then is felt bottom set everytime, versus UTG raiser, no matter how deep you are? And guess what? [/ QUOTE ] Why exactly are you ignoring my post and pokerstove calculation? |

This is fairly easy -- You call off 200BB with bottom set unless you have a very solid read that this guy will not put in 200BB with anything less than a set on the flop some very high % of the time.

The reason you play 22 is to hit a set. Now get the money in. If he has a flush draw, that's great (except when he hits it). IMO you can't fold this hand ever.
