He called a pitch that either hit the batter or bat a ball and let him walk on 3 pitches. Way to go, only the most important game of the year for NY and you can't even get the most basic of things right.

[/ QUOTE ] It sounds like you don't know what it hit, either--and you have the benefit of countless instant replays! You're going to give the ump a hard time about missing something like that??? YOU HAVE REPLAY, AND YOU CAN'T TELL, but you expect him to be able to tell without such aid?
