Glavine actually didn't pitch THAT badly. The Marlins just had good swings. But the umpired f'd up the first at bat. He called a pitch that either hit the batter or bat a ball and let him walk on 3 pitches. Way to go, only the most important game of the year for NY and you can't even get the most basic of things right.

It sounds like you don't know what it hit, either--and you have the benefit of countless instant replays! You're going to give the ump a hard time about missing something like that??? YOU HAVE REPLAY, AND YOU CAN'T TELL, but you expect him to be able to tell without such aid?
