No, the guy that made such classics as The Killer, Hard Boiled, and A Better Tomorrow.

I'll be buying it...

also check out "Rififfi," "Pepe le Moco," and "Le Cercle Rouge." Great French gangster films.

Clearly your sarcasm meter is broken.

Woo's films went down the toliet as soon as he came to Hollywood. The director's cut of Hard Target isn't bad (if you can look beyond Van Damme), and I actually like Face/Off, but the rest is junk.

good bump my man. I got this when deepdiscount had their criterion sale, and I was able to get around to watching it like 10 days ago. This film rules, there is really nothing more then that. I just love alain delon's character sooo much in it as he is the perfect hitman in each and everyway. The man shows no emotion at all. This really is one worth buying sight unseen, its just that good
