OP, You're gonna get hated on a ton in this thread, but I more or less agree with you. But seriously, how legit did you expect something as commercial as the R&R HOF to be? It's like getting pissed because Wilco didn't win a Grammy or some [censored].
All, Madonna SUCKS. Having 3 or 4 good singles in no way makes up for a career of talentless cuntery. The Stooges are sorta overrated too imo (among indie nerds who actually take the time to rate them at all), but way better than [censored] Madonna. John Cougar kinda sucks too. He's like a poor man's Springsteen.

Saying that Mellencamp is a poor man's Springsteen is an insult to Springsteen; more like poor man's jon bon jovi imo. obv the r&r hof is dumb and getting tilted at it is silly, but i'm just a childish idiot who gets tilted easily. and it's strange that you mention wilco winning a grammy because just yesterday i was wasting time on wikipedia looking at grammy winners and was surprised to learn that wilco did in fact win a grammy.

b) The Ventures are the only band on that list that I wouldnt be INCREDIBLY OFFENDED by them being in the rock and roll hall of fame.
