Re: $220 HUSNG street by street
Thank you everyone! In this hand Hero bet the turn and check/called a monster river bet. I told him that I hate that line and I feel that this is a clear c/c on both turn and river as cwar and nicho says above.
interesting spot, but i think c/c should be optimal on both of the last 2 streets. |

Re: $220 HUSNG street by street
yea yea yea, it was me
hand went like this (not that results matter): Full Tilt Poker Game #3676986762: $220 + $10 Heads Up Sit & Go (28039802), Table 1 - 20/40 - No Limit Hold'em - 11:38:25 ET - 2007/09/26 Seat 1: PrimordialAA (1,220) Seat 2: pocketz19 (1,780) pocketz19 posts the small blind of 20 PrimordialAA posts the big blind of 40 The button is in seat #2 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to PrimordialAA [Qd Th] pocketz19 calls 20 PrimordialAA checks *** FLOP *** [5d 4d Qc] PrimordialAA bets 60 pocketz19 calls 60 *** TURN *** [5d 4d Qc] [3d] PrimordialAA bets 140 pocketz19 calls 140 *** RIVER *** [5d 4d Qc 3d] [Jh] PrimordialAA checks pocketz19 bets 480 Bob Booey (Observer): 0-2 PrimordialAA calls 480 *** SHOW DOWN *** pocketz19 shows [6h 8h] Queen Jack high PrimordialAA shows [Qd Th] a pair of Queens PrimordialAA wins the pot (1,440) with a pair of Queens *** SUMMARY *** Total pot 1,440 | Rake 0 Board: [5d 4d Qc 3d Jh] Seat 1: PrimordialAA (big blind) showed [Qd Th] and won (1,440) with a pair of Queens Seat 2: pocketz19 (small blind) showed [6h 8h] and lost with Queen Jack high he is an idiot to have called on the flop I guess, but I guess I see the conservative c/call c/call (reasonable) being a better line, but I don't think a bet / fold to huge raise on the turn is too awful either, unless your villian is capable of making huge semi-bluffs with drawing / unmade hands. Anyways, thx for all the advice and feedback all |
