why are you calling preflop if a flop like this isn't good enough for your suited connectors?

[/ QUOTE ]

this has become the norm, not to rag on this post persay. what if villain just shoved, yes flop is good for heros hand but that doesnt dictate that well we call with xx and flop this so we have to felt or fold pre.

as played call.

lol at repeatedly saying that we only have 3 nut outs

i would generally shove here because youre going to be close to a coinflip against most calling ranges, have a sick overlay, and you can get people to fold better FDs behind you

guy, you don't play these hands to fold gutshot straight + flush draws. If so, go back to only playing pairs and folding ak plz.

Unless put villain on flopped straight, or set, or 2p, it's probably too expensive to call (in terms of cEV), so it's push/fold. Not sure if push is right for $EV at this stage of tourney w/50 bb.

I'm not putting him on at least one of those holdings, DUCY?

Actually, I'm not putting him on 2p, because he's probably not limping T6, T2, or 62 utg+1. Yeah, sometimes he has a set. Sometimes you're reaaaaalllllly unlucky and he had AThh (given the tone and content of your posts, I'm willing to bet that's exactly what he had).

Anyway, shove. Also, it's like the 2nd level, $ev and cev are pretty much equivalent.

Oops I was thinking of a different hand I posted on another forum.

Actually, thinking about it for 24hrs I think villain might have had nothing. 26T is a flop that looks like it might have missed everyone. Overbet pot looks like a scared top pair, or even 2nd pair.

I guess I can see a shove.
