Bobbo- how bad was the iceman? I mean he couldn't even read the board when he said he had a 9. He was reluctant to turn his hand over and then even after you flipped your hand he was giving a blank stare and flipped it with what looked like the thought of a man who still had a chance to split. Funny as hell. Sure he was a nice enough guy though

[/ QUOTE ]
heh, its funny in his interview how he said, "iceman, how can you play that hand!?" - because he was an insane nit. he played two hands all day (KK and AA), and AA was masterful... I open 87s in ep to 3x bb, (I think 3.2k or so, blinds 600/1200 w/ ante) and makes it 30 thousand straight. He couldnt let me see the flop! It would fold to my SB, id steal with ATC, he'd show me QJs and say "next time Im going to get you!".

he was a really nice guy though, it was fun sitting next to him, i didnt understand why he got alot of tv time. norman chad came to check on him and they ended up having a 10 min conversation about random stuff.

when he said he had a 9 i thought there was no way i was winning since the board was like 9 4 3 2 x...

one thing as well, [ QUOTE ]
67/52/5.6 over a decent sample.

[/ QUOTE ]
a 5.6 AF for a 20/18 tag is very high, so for this guy it's insanely high. he probably has something like Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or something.

Coinflip for over a buy in and a half. Even though he's a maniac, he can easily show up with flopped low flushes and sets here, which both obv kill our equity. I'd probably fold, although this is reasonably close.

I'm really not excited about getting it AI for almost 175 BB's with this hand. Donks love playing a set/flush this way, I fold, there will be much higher EV spots to play against this guy and I want to still have a large stack for when play in those hands in the future. That sentence was way too complicated but basically I'm saying there's no need to call here since we have position on a maniac and each have over 175 BB's, why lose our stack when there will be much better situations in the future.
