Re: Roy Winston Wins Borgata!!
BTW, this is the same Roy Winston who was shown in the WSOP ME last night (ep. 11 or 12)? The anesthesiologist.

This is sick: For a second I thought these were the payouts.
Seat No. 1: Heung “Scott” Yoon — $3,090,000 Seat No. 2: Roy Winston — $5,355,000 Seat No. 3: Haralabos Voulgaris — $1,465,000 Seat No. 4: Mark Weitzman — $1,750,000 Seat No. 5: Mike Matusow — $2,965,000 Seat No. 6: Eugene Todd — $2,190,000 They were just the starting stacks. |

Re: Roy Winston Wins Borgata!!
I was just over at the Borgata and was told by multiple dealers that the winner of the Main Event left no tip for the dealers. The dealers said that they only ended up making around $10 per hour for the entirety of the Borgata Poker Open.

[/ QUOTE ] At the risk of being a jerk here, the dealers at the Borgata generally sucked, took no pride in their work, and therefore didn't deserve a good wage from what I saw at the BPO. It's only a shame because it will discourage the few good dealers from continuing there, making the problem worse. This is coming from someone who tips the dealers/staff pretty well if they do an even remotely decent job. |

I played 6 prelims and the main event, and logged over 60 hours at the tables (I did not play the $2500 or $5000 prelims). Most of the dealers were competent, a few definitely were bad (which I blame on the management, not them, since they obviously just didn't have enough experience to be dealing in events of significance), some were good. I left a decent tip in the one event in which I cashed. And I think I'd have to have dealers openly rooting for bad beats against me to leave $0 out of $1.5 million. |
