I do stuff like this a lot, works pretty well if you pick your spots.
When he calls the turn he generally has KQ or some AK gutshot + overcard hand. The river is a tough card because us having a J just went down (and a J is in his range with the turn call). But it also helps get him off QQ or something, so I'm kind of impartial. Here is a hand I played yesterday. Decent opens UTG I call w/ some suited crap OTB. Flop is Q57 w/ FD and he pots, I repot he calls. Turn is a Q and he checks (I have a FD). I thought about checking behind, but betting was the best thing I could do because he's going to fold a better hand there very often IMO. |

If you feel he can fold QQ+ on that river me likey.
I don't care for your turn bet as he's calling AK, maybe even AQ here. Also what do you feel of his double barrel range you are beating? What better hands do you think your turn donk folds? 88-99? |

manupod I like betting there aswell becaus with that paired board u are not drawing to the nuts, and prob not the nutflush either.
and about the hand, im not calling river vs a nit. no way sry about posting the last action, forgot to edit it out. well people Cbet about 85% IP after its checked to them HU they are not gonna have something always, at first I checked to fold to be honest but his range was so narrow atm, I had even tighter stats on him when the hand took place. But I decided to call rather than checkraise and bet the turn, I feelt like I had good control over him and he was a player who would fold a great deal of hands and not raise my bet but maby would fire a sec barrel of ~30 and I dident want to checkraise that bet. So I made the block, when he called I dident know if he got stubborn drawing with AK ore picked up the heartdraw ore a ten. The river paired toppair and I could have easily played QJ/KJ, any pair with a heartdraw the exact same way so I bet to bluff, my hand was prob. no longer good after he called the turn and I thought he would fold here. I expected he would fold turn if he had air/any small pocket pair. And IF he had a 4/5 fold that aswell. I dident want to checkraise the turn because I dident feel the T was a good card to do that on, an ace on the other hand.. Idk.. im tired |

This is a value line but not a bluff line.
This board is pretty awesome though. Almost his whole range needs to fold the river. But, what do you on different rivers? blanks, overcards, flush/str8 cards? |

Some9 its like shpanko said, the jack was an awsome card, I just could not contain myself, I felt compelled to bet it.
Like I said I would prob bet an ace/king/queen and any heart. I would def check the smaller cards 9/8 and down. Im not gonna pretend to have QK thou |

I dont understand, what are you tryping to accomplish? He wont fold 10x+, MAYBE you move him off of 88 or 99. Seems pretty bad/nonsensical to me.
