wtf? why push turn?

a. he's probably not gonna call with worse
b. he's so short we won't have a problem getting the rest on the river

river is close but i would call cause he's a mouthbreather with $50. maybe he just turned his flush with 6s8s and doesn't wanna fold. also helps that one of the overs is out there.

[/ QUOTE ]

See, that's exactly what I thought. He turned over 43c and mhig - was a really weird hand, didn't know what to do. Thanks.

As played not an easy call, but my mouse tends to drift that way.

i think mostly his range is a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], maybe the ace of spades X, or a spade with a pair... so shove turn for value vs this range.

This is typically the type of stuff you see from these guys here.

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $235.20
Hero: $324.90
Button: $103
SB: $77
BB: $155.80

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $7</font>, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($16, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $8</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $26</font>, SB calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($68, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $30</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $60</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB calls all-in $14</font>.
Uncalled bets: $16 returned to Hero.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($156, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $156)

Results:
Final pot: $156
Hero showed 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB showed K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
