Re: $27 ATs early vs river push
are you all really giving villain that much credit? I mean by checking the turn we are basically saying ok I don't have anything you win. If this is a typical donk his range for calling pre and calling the flop can be qj+ kj+ 22+ a fd, 67, a2+ That Q can be a scare card for him. Im definately firing a second barrell on the turn, he may fold, if not you still have the A and a fd. If you take the free card and hit an A or a heart you may not even get paid unless villain has a strong hand.

Re: $27 ATs early vs river push
Preflop/flop are really standard.
Turn I two barrel a fair amount of the time though it sucks that you need to fold to a c/r you can fold out a lot of midpair type hands. If he makes a smaller riverbet I call but this looks a lot more like an 8 which tried to c/r twice and than wanted to stack you so overbet shoved than a FD. |

Re: $27 ATs early vs river push
Villain has A8. He was going to check raise the turn, but you checked, so he pushed the river, figuring if you would call any bet you'd call a push.
