I'd rather bet the flop and check the turn behind vs someone I don't know.

I think this is fine. I might find a fold on the river. I like checking the flop

this line is fine, with the board putting 3 spades on the river it makes it closer, since the king paired again tho i am looking it up

both lines are okay, betting the flop is slightly better IMO and i would mix in both plays to keep opponents off balance

I usually bet flop/check turn/call riv the way this hand played out. As played after flop check, you did fine.

For value from underpair hands that will fold the flop.

This is fine. On a site without a big shiny bet pot button, the river would be a fold.
