Re: $22 - 20/40, pot control gone kinda wrong
I like a raise to t160 preflop against a limper in CO
A raise to t180-200 on the flop sounds good to me. Bet t300 on the turn. I think I fold river |

PF good, flop I am probably raising pot, turn is a brick unless he is having the catch of the day for his dinner with 9T and I am not slowing down, as played river is a fold

For those who advocate limping behind Pre Flop on the button with AQs, please have a read of AMT's excellent strat post on the very same subject.

Re: $22 - 20/40, pot control gone kinda wrong
Yeah that's a good post. I misread the action on the flop and didn't raise enough. On the turn, I don't think a check is very good anymore as I'm still ahead and likely will get called by QK/KJ and other hands that I beat. Missing a lot of value here not betting. I'm not trying this line ever again lol.

Grunch.
Raise PF. Raise more on flop. Fire turn. As played, river is clearly a very frustrating fold. |
