Re: 1-2NL FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT
"no way hes cbetting 50% of his range here"
This is really a bizzare statment for multiple people to be making, he only has to be betting 18% of the 36% of the hands he raises with, I dont understand why it would be hard to believe a guy that opens at lest 35% of his hands from the CO isnt going to be betting at least 50% of those on this flop. I would think that it would be a mistake for him not to bet vs buttons assumed CC range. |

Re: 1-2NL FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT
fold and occasionally raise.
your hand may have enough value for a call here against his immediate range, but it doesnt really matter because the weakness of your hand/lack of redraws etc. makes it so you hardly make it to showdown against the hands that you beat (or you end up paying off a bunch of bets, whatever works). |

Re: 1-2NL FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT
[ QUOTE ]
How is making a raise where every worse hand folds and every better hand calls a good idea? [/ QUOTE ] 1) This isn't true. Better hands fold often here. A5-AT specifically will fold to pressure a lot 2) This raise would be for protection, not value. |

Re: 1-2NL FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT
Regarding calling and seeing a turn, why makes you so sure he will check and you will bet. If he bets again, then dumping the hand is fine and hasn't cost you what a raise would have done on the flop. If he checks then you put him on a range and maybe you don't necessarily bet and take it down there, you might think he has a draw and bet for protection, or check and see if he fires(/bluffs) the river, depending on what you now think of his range.
