Re: 1/2 How did I play this hand?
Ok fair enough...
Preflop is fine (although I don't mind overlimping), flop is fine. People like this guy usually fall into the camp of always calling cbets or only calling cbets when they have a hand. Which one is it? Anyway - it doesn't matter much because on the turn, if your read is that he has a pocket pair and is putting out a feeler bet (I agree btw), raise it THEN...don't show weakness by calling and then expect your smallish river bet to have FE. Or just fold turn. |

Re: 1/2 How did I play this hand?
OK so he couldn't bet more on rvr...still think raising turn is better.
However you should probably just fold turn. I have to constantly remind myself to not bluff fish - for good reason. |

[ QUOTE ] Why did you bet the river? [/ QUOTE ] obviously as a bluff putting him on any pocket pair from 22 through TT. [/ QUOTE ] From OP: [ QUOTE ] villain is 50/0/1 [/ QUOTE ] Don't bluff a calling station. Just fold the turn. You ain't got much showdown value, the donkey likes his hand, and you're unlikely to improve. |

Trying to get 50/0/1 donks to fold pocket pairs is a bad idea.

Re: 1/2 How did I play this hand?
i know who this guy is lol. he doesn't fold. and he def has a Q.
he may fold because he doesn't like AI pressure, but when the pot looks big, and the money left behind isn't much, he'll reluctantly call. |
