You have to bet river. I don't like a check on the river because he is paying you off a lot with top pair here so it is a clear value bet, also because he is a nit and doesn't bluff a lot.

Why are you not betting the turn?

I bet 40/call all in on the turn. Why are you checking turn? Are you that afraid of a flush? If he has 2p, KX, esp KxXc, betting the turn and river will get all his money in. If did turn the flush tell him nice hand, suck out ~23% of the time, move on.

i feel that if you are bet/folding the river, it is better to check call because it allows him to try and value bet TP or take a stab at this pot. I think you need to bet the turn, but as played id check call

I'm betting turn like always, even if it's not the best card there is (you're obv losing value by not betting).

As played, bet/folding river is the best option (sometimes b/c, not here though).

This is wrong. You have to bet this river for value. Too many players will not put another $ in once the flush hits but will call a ton of bets.

Why does everybody think that a nit is paying you off with lone top pair?

Because they do almost every day of the week. Also that river now makes a ton of 2 pair hands that I want decent value off of.

Am I the only player who can get called by 6th pair when I bluff the river?
