Here's what I found.

Which exercise in my workout should I drop for this, and what sequence would you recommend?

can you feel your chest muscles squeeze when you do bench?

[/ QUOTE ]Not really. I feel it when I do flat flyes a lot though (obviously) and I can flex them when not working out.

Stop doing the same stuff if it isn't working.

My initial problem with the t-nation squeeze press was that there is no reason to be using heavy weights or any weight for that matter with the press. The main point of the exercise is the isometric part (the squeezing of the dumbells together.) What I hated was that for some people they will try and use the heaviest weight possible. This will cause many to burn out their triceps first and not overload their chest. I tried it with my chest workout and it works well to burn out chest before or after bench or another exercise.

Theres no need to use heavy weights with it though. Use light weights so you dont overload the triceps before or simply do the movement with your palms touching, making sure to press them together as hard as possible throughout the movement.

Thoughts?

I mean that in a "Try a different program and see your results. Everyone's body is different and this should be the first thing you're doing. Aside from probably using a better program or getting advice from a professional (free of course)."

I think one of the above posts was very succinct in that for many people, a barbell bench is not a great chest workout.

[/ QUOTE ]In my first post I said I only have dumbbells. It really limits the variability of my workout, and as I said in my 3rd post if anyone has any suggestions for something different I'd love to hear it.

I reread it and yeah... You are doing only DB exercises. Weird. I found DB bench usually to be one of the best chest exercises due to load etc. Maybe you just have bad insertions and you'll chest will be small forever. Sorry

Well my chest is developing pretty well. My only issue was that my tris were already where I wanted them to be, and my chest isn't yet. The reasoning being that chest muscles are more visible when you have a shirt on. The button-down kinds of shirts I wear anyway.

Chest muscles will just take longer to fill out because of their size, especially the inner parts.

How much weight are you benching?
