[/ QUOTE ] He can't give himself odds after he has put the raise in. Instead by calling you are giving him a FREE CARD to hit his set. Now calling may be ok when you want to trap with aces if you know he has QQ+, but then again you might as well push. Another way to look at the first hand is in terms of FTOP. Preflop, had you known he had KK, you would have shoved, right? On the flop, had you known he had KKK, you would have folded, right? |
