Looking up gymnastics around Boston, I find lots of classes for little kids (mostly younger girls) and not much for a 23 year old interested in parkour type stuff...

You could do worse than spend your time in a yoga class getting your body ready to be thrown around like that first.

Do you think it will help with my Judo in general or my ukemi in particular? I mainly do it to relax, and because it feels good. The cute girls are obv a plus too. |

I think flexibility helps a lot in suddenly sinking down low in judo so you don't get thrown over over a hip. That applies especially to tall guys, who can find it very hard to get under the center of gravity of a shorter guy who is determined to throw them. Sometimes you have to hit a horse stance really fast and low. But it works for same size people too. It also helps you apply leg power and find your footing from less than ideal angles, or when you are falling. That can either help you get something done, or just keep from getting a painful or dangerous pull.
