Re: Big bluff in RR pot .. like?
The responses are pretty much what I expected to hear. I expected to get called down here pretty lightly given my line. There is a twist, though. I did not have AK.

I thought this hand would be a pretty sick line to take for value as I did expect most villains to call with a ton of bluff-catchers as all of you are indicating in this thread. I'm not sure if he saw through my line (doubt it) or he just didn't have the balls to call. From playing with him for a while, I think the latter is more likely. |

Re: Big bluff in RR pot .. like?
Yeah this is a pretty good line with strong hands if you're a little worried about getting action(also he might need some balls to call you). It really sucks when that T hits the turn though after flop goes check/check.
Just wondering, what was your plan if he bets the flop? c/r? seems a little awkward |

He tends to bet pretty large in reraised pots so I don't think it would be too akward actually. Checking the flop is a bit risky since there are a couple scary turns, specifically a T. A T hitting the turn is probably better after the flop goes check check than when I bet and he calls, I think. |
