Re: Raise or Call?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Whatever, a river fold here may be -EV, but its not by much. You have raised UTG pf and fired the entire time and he donks the river club and ace. There are plenty of guys who will do wierd donks at scare cards to show down marginal hands, which is why I will always call in this spot. But I bet you are losing the majority of the time here. And yes, I do suck at online poker. [/ QUOTE ] stop talking about this like it's an actual conversation. anyone that folds this river, online, should just not play poker anymore, because you don't know what you are doing. this is not almost a fold, this isn't a "I have to think about it" no, he bets, you call, next hand. Re: Raise or Call?
[ QUOTE ]
Never raise. I think raising this pot is really bad. I think folding is probably good a lot of the time, but I would call since you have absolutely no read. It's probably close enough to neutral that it won't matter, and you figure out what this guys played. Was it a flush draw, or did he play something else very strange. [/ QUOTE ] Well this opponent played 60/16. Some of you are giving him to much credit and seem to reduce his range to reasonable holdings. Of course i only called (?) and he showed me Q2 of Spades. So i really wondered (not only cause of this hand)if there is value for a raise against players that bad with hands that are very marginal against better players. |

Re: Raise or Call?
The river donk on this board, at least at low limits where I play, is a garbage hand a lot of the time. Unfortunately, its also sometimes a monster. Just snap off the bluff, because he might not call your raise with air but he'll 3bet his monsters. (If you find a raise here you can fold to the 3bet though)
