Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
If you make it $25 (which is too light IMO), SB shoves and BB folds, you're getting 2:1 on a call. Don't have PokerStove available to me now, but there's no way you're worse than a 2:1 dog against this guy's shoving range.
Oh yeah, and welcome to 2+2 TT! Haven't seen you at the tables lately, but I've been playing mostly NL $200 so maybe you've been playing higher. |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
i'd raise and call a shove, usually they have nothing here and are going to fold unfortunately, or they are on a draw or have a weak made hand

please do not raise, just call the flop, again please do not raise [/ QUOTE ] Can you please give a valid reason not to raise? Besides "pot control" which isn't valid at all considering you have a LAG donking into you in a multiway pot, and he's unlikely to slow down on the turn. |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
dude thank you, ok so we come over the top and he goes all in after leading into the pf raiser and another caller, we're usually not ahead here. Other scenario, he has a weak made hand. I think these are good reasons for just calling

[/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't beat myself up over making a bad fold here because the pot is pretty small. You raise and get called by either player. Now what? C/F? Stack off? Now you are in a REALLY [censored] spot. |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
Easy call. Lets play the turn. Flop is 3 way, SB is a lag so your raise may still get called light and that may prompt BB to call light as well. Further more once you raise you're close to pot committed and will have to call a flop push and likely end up getting in your money while behind.
