well we could call flop and turn and shove river as a fake bluff, but theres a lot of cards that kill either our hand or our action, so raise-call is probably better.

really? seems like a board he'll fire 2 on pretty often, and raising the turn looks a whole lot stronger than raising the flop in this spot.

I decided to play it safe and just call.

Turn was the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet $75. He raises to $220 and calls my shove with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] drawing dead.

But no I didn't get berated. =/

lol the check is hilarious? The only thing that is is hilarious is your poker knowledge...

So you expect me to go out on this flop and what do you expect me to do when he raises me? Am I really behind in every case here? I don't think so! Should I call his potential raise or should I fold it? And if a blank falls on river, should I fold when I am then committed?? Interesting....Since every set on that flop and atleast top-two-pair would raise me on that flop, I really can not put him on boat on turn. That is why I figurered I would get the best value from a draw-bluff and an A by check-raising, but since you only can see what he had you think it was a bad play, which I find is extremely hilarious and only shows that you are a poor poker player.
