like people said, theres no real value to raising the flop since a flush draw makes up a fairly small part of his range and you're either way ahead and have him drawing to 2 outs, or you're way behind and drawing extremely thin if not dead. i flatcall the turn and hate life if villain shoves river. You made this hand alot harder than it needed to be by making it a big pot.

If I am villain here and you flat call my turn bet I shove any river. As played on flop I shove turn and suck it up. but I don't like your flop line, I'd get busy on the turn.

Shove? Elaborate why please.
Our range isn't as polarized as it may seem when we just call this turn.

are we trying to fold a better hand or get value for our 8's on the flop?

i'd rather flat call the flop and raise a non club turn.

why do you like a flop raise here? The hand looks like were ahead but do you think villain calls a flop and turn raise often enough? Although when they bet like that on the turn they dont fold too often so i guess u r right. I just feel like in general when i raise the flop here i pull villain off his hand by the end.

Hold on, how come everyone wants to play a huge pot with a marginal pair on a paired board? I'm confused. Call flop. As played, call turn, and call any river bet on a non club.

Another bizarre thread.

Don't raise the flop if you aren't willing to push here.
