If you have a decent edge in the game, 300 BB downswing in a short period of time sounds gigantinormus. I wouldn't attribute it to variance without having a very good reason to.

While 3betting AQs pf is standard against your opponent on hand one, the board is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too wet to be playing TPTK like that in hand one.
hand two is a standard runner runner suckout. Sorry about your loss. looking at both hands I get the gist of the gigantic hole in your boat. |
