Re: 50 NL-top set in big preflop action hand
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I would check here basically always. [/ QUOTE ] thats' because you short stack right? don't check here. Just fire and hope somebody has a hand they like. if this was HU checking is fine, but 3 ways, 2 suited and broadways, a lot of cards can kill your action. obv check if you're sure somebody will put in a bet. [/ QUOTE ] whoops. gg hand reading. i thought hero was the 3/bettor. Definately check/call and donk/shove the turn [/ QUOTE ] ok that was my line exactly. I was like wtf, who donks Q high flops after coldcalling 3 preflop. Thats screaming QQQ from a TAG. As for the turn, the play here is $15. |

Bet 15$ on the turn. You absolutely cannot let another free card come off. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 50 NL-top set in big preflop action hand
bet the flop
this is such a drawy flop that if you bet something like 10-15$ you are very likely to be called(at least you are charging for draws even if its not much). AK will be calling you with gutshot + overcards, FD/SD will be calling. If the 3better has Aces or Kings, he is likely going to be coming over the top to protect from your "draw". This is when you call, CRAI on turn or just donk him on the flop. You guys way over estimate the chance of someone cbetting this flop. He 3bet and got TWO callers. If he doesn't have AA or KK here, he is not cbetting. He is checking behind. |
