meh, beltran has played almost 20 less games and has comparable stats (i think), not to mention covering more ground in CF (tired of watching green having to cover so much ground and his stupid, stupid dives)

also, can't find stats on this, but the mets tend to heat up and cool down as beltran plays imo, though to be fair, wright has picked it up a lot lately after his own slump...

healthy beltran >> healthy wright imo

There is this thing called the internet you can go on websites and look up stats to see if they are comparable.

BTW is there merit to giving the MVP to a guy with a really crappy backup. Instead of VORP VOBU. I realize you are rewarding/punishing guys based on their backup, but organizationally I think looking at VOBU makes sense.

For the sake of argument, Jorge Posada/Wil Nieves comes to mind - if Posada went down for the year in May, the Yankees would make a trade.

eerr...i meant imo, not i think in the last post, their stats are comparable except for runs in which wright has like 15-20 more when i checked a while ago...sorry for the typo
