I don't know how this guy plays, but what types of hands would he cc with in the sb and what kind of hands would he 3 bet with?

For most players, suited connectors make up more of the cc'ing range, while pairs and big aces make up more of the 3 betting range.

I think it's just further weight towards semibluff than say 88.

Say he has T9 diamonds - maybe he feels this is a monster hand and would give off this tell anyway?

I think the point of it I don't think this is the type of opponent to 3-ball the turn with a big draw and risk being 4-bet. I think he would call with a hand like T9d or any other draw to try to catch on the river.

Now, I can see an argument for a worse A to 3-ball me thinking I'm semi-bluffing the turn. This is feasible, and reason enough to call down if this is what I believe. I don't see all but the bravest of souls 3-betting a drawing hand on the turn OOP.

It's been a regular game since about March.

I don't like taking lines that lead to folds in situations like this. I don't like the idea of raising and folding to a 3bet here, especially against a player described as "a little too agressive". Just 3 bet the flop and call down when capped or call the turn and raise the river or call down the 3 bet.

I agree, if my plan is to raise fold the turn then I won't raise the turn in the first place.
