That and if he has the straight he had it on the turn. Not saying I like it because I think he shows up with 2pair a good % of the time.

I think the raise was the right move here, he is probably trying to represent the straight. My guess is he folded. If he re-raised you should call just because of the size of the pot.

raise flop. call down turn and river. villain has hit 2pair most likely. i don't think river raise is going to win you bets extra bets here in the long run.

Ha, this thread is weird. I like the flop & turn. River seems close - he never has a 9 but could have a 4.
I don't think there's anything wrong w/ a flop raise cause most cards that don't scare you will scare villian.

This is either a wierd screwplay with 99, some wierd set or two pair (given pf action) or TT. In any case I don't think there can be much value to a river raise.

Do raise flop tho, and the hand plays better.
