you mis-read the story apparently, the old guy wasnt even in the hand. the BB pretended to have 22 when he really had the nut hand. He them huff and puffed about it to sell his story which worked.

Funny thing is, if the kid didnt try to take advantage of a seemily unfortunate situation for the old guy, hed still have his stack.

If my opponent said something like that, I would tell him im not callnig becuase he didnt understand the board and to just give me the pot amount at the end of the game since I can beat 22. Then his plan would be ruined and he would be forced to give me the pot or say nono, the bet stands which would lead everyone to realise what hes doing. Greed is good, except when it runs into bigger, smarter greed.

Yeah right. I don't believe you at all. Psychology works in mysterious ways and if he's a good enough actor, you wouldn't even consider that he's pulling a move.

i hope the kid that was saying the bet had to stay and then went broke was that [censored] nit kid that has glasses and wears a hat (plays all the time) who claimed I slowrolled him in a $125 pot.
