Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
pre-legis, I was at like 2.5/100 over a zillion hands at 2/4 - since I started playing again, I'm at about 1.4 or so but playing a little higher (mostly 5/10 but anywhere form 3/6 to 15/30) and a ton more tables. I don't necc. think the games are harder, they're just different - as the bad players tend more towards poor-handreading aggro monkeys as opposed to 90/5/.4 stations.

Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
I took a piddly online roll that I keep seperate from my live game money in the hopes of building it. I play comfortably in 15/30 live, and I'm absolutely slaughtering 3/6 short right now on my stars account. I'd be inclined to say that the only thing between me and a steady 3bb/100 id the effing rake.

Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
hmm, ok. I was curious myself so I opened my 2-4 DBs
DB1: July 23 - August 15 of all players who played +7k hands (about 60 players) in this timeframe, only 6 people made over 2BB/100 hands (2 others were close) and the other remarkable thing: one of the best players at 2-4 went on a 250BB downswing. some more indications: winner1: 27k hands 27/17 3BB/100 winner2: 24k hands 50/23 2.4BB/100 winner3: 15k hands 27/20 3.1BB/100 winner4: 9k hands 25/19 2.4BB/100 winner5: 9k hands 36/24 2.3BB/100 DB2: July 1 - July22 of all players who played +7k hands (about 65 players) in this timeframe, 14 people made over 2BB/100 hands (2 others were close) - one of those 14 played breakeven over 10k hands in DB1 - of the 13 other big winners ... - one played 6k hand lost at 1BB/100 - one played 1500 hands and lost 150 BB (!!!) - one played 15k hands at only 0.7 BB/100 - one played like 100 hands and dropped 25 BB the others did random... I am to lazy to look it up - the 250BB downswing guy mentioned above played 9k hands at 3BB/100 hands beside some prove of variance: - a good TAG I try to avoid was winning 0.6BB/100 over 27k hands in DB1 loses 0.9BB/100 in DB2 over 41k hands - the super aggro hardcore all-day long multitabler at low limits (the football guy) played break even in Db1 over 50k hands and won 0.6BB/100 over 53k hands in DB2 ... with other words: lucky is bitch - she does it with everyone |

Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
i figured that much
i played >200k hands on 2/4 and beat it at one point for close to 2BB/100, but the last 100k hands were pretty bleak. i made ~0.4 BB/100 and had 3 200-250BB downswings. Just finished another 3000 hands day with nothing to show for Limit Rake is just too high... Do you have such extensive records for 3/6 and 5/10 as well Timok ? |

Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
[ QUOTE ]
people have sick swings (several of the players at 2-4 & 3-6 have at months with 50k hands at 2BB/100 hands just to be followed by a 50k hands month at -0.5BB/100) [/ QUOTE ] I have run some simulations as well as I know it from real life (from others) that at 10K of hands one can often have big differences on scores but it usually evens out at 20-50K hands on most cases if one is beating the game at least 2BB/100 (this is the score one should aim to achieve if one wants reasonable fluctuations rather than like gambling instead or more or less usually getting into a long enough run somewhere after 100K and there one's score could be 0-0.5BB or it could be 1BB so that much gambling remains). The problem is when one is winning less than that, then it's normal to run good like 2.5BB in e.g. 20K of hands and during the next 20K of hands lose like 0.5BB or more. |

Re: BB/100 since the legislation? 2/4 - 5/10
@ exlka:
I have for 3-6 but I dont load 5-10 in PT (yet) @647189653: yeah, that's then theorie. but actual in real life the past 50k hands have just little influence on your next 50k hands. that's why even the best player have sick swings sometimes. |
